One Caribbean United is Sharda's community initiative: a way for people across the Caribbean and West Indian diaspora to find each other, and to do something with that connection once they have.
Culture and relationships
The initiative starts from culture — the food, the music, the language and the habits people carry with them — and from the relationships that form around it.
Connection first. Everything else follows from people actually knowing one another.
Community and collaboration
From friendship comes collaboration: people introducing each other, working together, and opening doors they are in a position to open.
It is founder-stewarded. Sharda decides how it grows and who it grows with, so that it stays what it is meant to be.
